Lessons are conducted by golf club professionals. They begin Thursday after school on June 6th, 13th, and 20th. The one-hour lessons are scheduled at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00. Junior and novice golfers can attend any one of the available times. It is not necessary to sign up in advance for the after-school sessions.
The morning lessons begin on Thursday, June 27th and continue for seven weeks, ending on August 8th. These lessons are from 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00. All golfers are asked to sign up for one of those times. They may choose whichever time suits them. The choice may depend on travel arrangements or some other factor. Sign-up sheets will be available in the pro shop on June 7th. You may drop in or phone to request your preferred time.
Skills Clinics are held throughout the season, there is no sign up necessary. Golfers who attend will be divided into appropriate groups and will work on short game skills such as putting, chipping and pitching. Junior assistants will be there to help with the process. Every golfer’s progress will be charted throughout the seven sessions as they work their way through the designated skill levels.
The opening nine-hole scramble will take place on June 28th with tee times from 8:30 – 11:00. They will take place every Wednesday for seven weeks. The closing scramble will be held on August 9th. A meal will be provided after the opening and the closing scramble. Names will be drawn each week for prizes. You may book your tee times in advance for these events. If you do not have someone to play with, you will be grouped with other golfers.
