Alex Egan

General Manager

Born overseas on a Canadian base in Germany, then swiftly moved to Comox on Vancouver Island. From there moved to Middleton N.S, this is where he started in the golf industry at the age of 14.

Graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Holland College, during his time at College he represented his school at 6 national events. Receiving Most improved, Most dedicated, and MVP. Also receiving CCAA Academic and Athletic all Canadian distinctions.

After School he joined the PGA of Canada Association in 2011, During the start of his PGA career he worked at NSGA, Clyde River, Belvedere then set up shop at Mactaquac in 2014. Starting as the assistant moving up to Property Manager/ Head Professional.

During his time in the PGA Alex has won a few local events including the PGA Atlantic Players Championship. Also being lucky enough to represent the Atlantic PGA at many national events. Even teeing it up with FGC HP Brett Wilson in Bermuda for the NIKE team Championship. Alex is a proud Titleist Staffer and has a vast knowledge of current and past equipment from all companies.

Also volunteering his time to sitting on the Board of Directors for the Atlantic PGA, chairman of the membership services, and public relations & communication committees. He is looking forward to his new role and opportunity at the historic Fredericton Golf Club.

Nathan Harvey

Assistant PGA Professional

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick but raised in Fredericton, where Nathan began playing his junior golf right here at the Fredericton Golf Club and eventually starting his career in the golf industry at age 14 in the back shop.

A graduate of Leo Hayes High School where he won a High School Provincial Championship in his senior year before graduating to the collegiate ranks with St. Thomas University. In his short stint there, Nathan competed in a National Championship and received Most Valuable Player as well as Athlete of the Month honors from the University.

Nathan obtained his professional status with the PGA of Canada after winning the 2018 Mactaquac Invitational, and is entering his second year as a professional and currently enrolled in the PGA of Canada apprenticeship program. Nathan is a Cobra Puma Golf staff professional and is looking forward to working at the place where his journey into a career in golf started for him.

Jake Ward

Assistant PGA Professional

Raised in Oromocto New Brunswick, Jake started his golf career at the Gage Golf Club at the age of 8. Throughout his junior life at The Gage Jake won 4 Junior Club Championships and eventually going on to win 2 Men’s Club Champions. Jake also started working in the golf industry at The Gage joining the pro shop staff as an amateur.

Jake attended Oromocto High School where he played 4 years of high school golf and was named team MVP twice. Following graduation, Jake enrolled in the Golf Club Management/Professional Golf Management programs at Holland College. While at Holland College Jake played 3 years of varsity golf for the Hurricanes and attended the CCAA National Championship in his final year. He was named a CCAA Academic all Canadian and an ACAA all Conference as a player.

After graduating from Holland College, Jake joined the PGA of Canada and started his professional career as an Assistant Professional at Kingswood. During his first 3 years as a professional Jake attained Class “A” status within the PGA of Canada. Starting his fourth year as a PGA member Jake is looking forward to joining the FGC staff as well as becoming a Team TaylorMade staff professional.

Ryan Kingston

Teaching Professional

Born and raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick Ryan started his golf playing and working career at the Miramichi golf club at the age of 14. Under the watchful mentorship of PGA Professional Ken McBride Ryan spent 9 seasons climbing the ranks from Back Shop attendant to Head Golf Professional.

In 2008 Ryan moved to Fredericton and became a full time golf instructor / coach. He has been operating his business Ryan Kingston Golf ever since utilizing multiple facilities in the city including Kingswood, West Hills & JH Sports.

Ryan’s passion for golf has always focused towards junior golfers and growing the game. He spends countless hours visiting local schools introducing kids to a game they can enjoy for the rest of their lives! In 2012 the PGA of Canada Atlantic named him Junior Leader of the year.
Ryan spent 6 years as the coach of Team New Brunswick junior men’s golf team. In 2013 he had the honour of representing New Brunswick as the head coach at the summer Canada Games in Sherbrook Quebec and reflects on that experience as a career highlight.
