Andrew Connors

PGA of Canada Head Professional

Andrew became a junior member at Fredericton Golf Club in 1999, playing all of his Junior golf and early intermediate years at FGC. Andrew is thrilled to return to the FGC calling it the "place where I grew up". In the 5 years, Andrew became an apprentice professional, and then was promoted to Head Professional assisting Chris Billings. Andrew was promoted to Director of Golf upon Chris's departure to the FGC in 2022. Leaving Kingswood the following fall to start his new business, Hercs Nutrition Fredericton. Andrew's wife and sister will manage the business while he services the FGC membership.

Andrew has garnered many accomplishments as a golf professional over a short period. Andrew became a Class A Professional in only 2.5 years. Andrew also worked for Callaway Golf Canada as a Tech Rep travelling to all the regional accounts conducting fitting days. In 2020, Andrew was awarded PGA of Canada Atlantic Apprentice Professional of the year. Andrew specializes in club fitting and teaching with many certifications including master fitter.

Andrew is thrilled to return to Fredericton Golf Club and hopes to settle in for a long time.

Ryan Kingston

PGA of Canada Teaching Professional

Born and raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick Ryan started his golf playing and working career at the Miramichi golf club at the age of 14. Under the watchful mentorship of PGA Professional Ken McBride Ryan spent 9 seasons climbing the ranks from Back Shop attendant to Head Golf Professional.

In 2008 Ryan moved to Fredericton and became a full time golf instructor / coach. He has been operating his business Ryan Kingston Golf ever since utilizing multiple facilities in the city.

Ryan’s passion for golf has always focused towards junior golfers and growing the game. He spends countless hours visiting local schools introducing kids to a game they can enjoy for the rest of their lives! In 2012 the PGA of Canada Atlantic named him Junior Leader of the year.
Ryan spent 6 years as the coach of Team New Brunswick junior men’s golf team. In 2013 he had the honour of representing New Brunswick as the head coach at the summer Canada Games in Sherbrook Quebec and reflects on that experience as a career highlight.

Alan Howie

PGA of Canada Professional

Alan returns to the Fredericton Golf Club after a two years away and brings with a wealth of experience about the golf industry and the FGC. Alan was a PGA professional at the Fredericton Golf Club for 16 years, which included roles as head professional and general manager.

Alan is one of the most respected golf professionals in the industry. He has been a staff member of Taylor Made for the past 33 years and currently sits on the Presidential Advisory board.

Alan is the consummate professional and his diverse background will make him a valuable asset to the FGC team during this pre-retirement phase of his career.

Cameron McNeil

PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional

Cam grew up playing golf in high school at Mountain Woods Golf Club in Moncton, NB before taking a less traditional path into the golf industry. As a graduate from UNB in Mechanical Engineering in 2017, it wasn't until 2021 when he jumped in head first and opened Par 94 Bar & Golf Lounge in downtown Fredericton. Owning and operating an indoor golf facility complete with 4 Trackman simulators quickly lead Cam into pursuing his PGA of Canada membership.

In 2022 Cam became a PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional and is currently working towards his Class A designation. Due to his unique background before starting in the golf industry, Cam has a very data driven approach to coaching and instruction, with a focus on customer service.

Cam's passion for the game of golf involves a large focus on inclusivity and accessibility. Creating a more inviting environment for new players from all walks of life is the main mission of Par 94 and a core value for Cam. This combination of passion, people, and process has allowed him to create a unique instruction experience that he is excited to bring to the Fredericton membership and help grow the game of golf in the Fredericton area.

Chris Billings

General Manager: PGA of Canada Executive Professional

Born and raised in Fredericton. Chris learned the game from his father and began his journey into the golf industry in the "back shop" at the then Fredericton Golf & Curling Club. He worked his way to assistant professional under the guidance of Andy Mabie and Tracey Hayden.

Chris moved onto to work for Alan Howie and the Mactaquac Golf Course for a couple of years before moving onto Kingswood Golf Course in 2001. He has spent the past 20 years leading the golf operation at Kingswood which was recognized as best new course in Canada by Golf Digest in 2003.

He will be returning back to the Fredericton Golf Club to lead a team of golf professionals and staff. His win-win philosophy and desire to make the FGC the top in the region will be his mission.

Chris has been on multiple volunteer boards including a time as President of the PGA of Canada Atlantic Zone. He is a leader in the industry and looked to from other professionals.
