Code of Conduct

The FGC is a welcoming semi-private golf course that offers a premier golf experience. We expect all golfers to abide by our Code of Conduct and course policies. RESPECT in all areas at our course is expected. The expectation at the FGC is all members and guests shall demonstrate respect towards our golf course, equipment, staff, and fellow golfers.

Dress Code

Members, their guests, greens fee players and outside tournament participants are expected to dress in an appropriate manner. Contemporary golf attire is required at the Fredericton Golf Club.

Spikeless golf shoes/sandals and running shoes are acceptable. Metal spikes are not permitted.

Conduct on the Course

Members and guests are expected to maintain a good pace of play on the course, be ready to play when it is their turn, and invite faster groups to play through.

All players must observe directional signs for power carts, pull carts and power caddies. Power carts must leave fairways where indicated and stay on cart paths around greens and tees. Power carts must be kept a minimum of 20 yards from greens.

Pull carts and power caddies must be kept a minimum of 10 feet from greens and not be taken between greens and greenside bunkers.

Players are expected to rake sand bunkers, repair ball marks on greens and replace divots taken from fairways.

Where repair material is provided on tees, divots must be filled.

Alcohol on the Course

Alcoholic beverages may be consumed by players of legal drinking age on the course as well as in the clubhouse. Consumption is limited to that which is purchased from the licensee on the course or in the clubhouse.

No member, guest, greens fee player, or outside tournament participant is permitted to take alcoholic beverages on the course that have been acquired from sources other than the licensee.

Any person who is in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the course, and if a member, will be subject to disciplinary action as determined by the Board of Directors.
