We will be providing a fun and unique series of clinics for the 2022 season. Lesson will be conducted by PGA of Canada professionals Ryan Kingston.  Our team have years of experience delivering lessons. These will be lessons for beginners & novices based on golf fundamentals. Program is open to non-members of the FGC.

The clinics begin at 6:15pm on Tuesday evenings starting May 24th for a total of 4 sessions. Each week we will be working on specific areas of the game to help play the best golf of your life.

Week 1 (May 24)Set-up. We will focus on grip, stance, posture and alignment. We will be taking a few swings on the first night but it is mostly about set-up

Week 2 (May 31)– Swing. We will work on all aspects of the swing. Backswing, transition, downswing, impact and follow through. We will still keep an eye on all set-up fundamentals while practicing the swing

Week 3 (June 7)– Chipping and putting. We will look at set-up and posture for both putting and chipping and the techniques involved as they differ from the full swing. Easy tips and tricks to help you around the greens on the golf course.

Week 4 (June 14)– Pitching and Bunker Play. We show you proper techniques for shots that do not require a full swing and demonstrate how to get out of bunkers.

The series will be $90 per person with a maximum group size of 10. This will ensure a ratio of 1 instructor per 5 players.

FGC MEMBER LADIES CLINICS

Clinics will be facilitated by PGA of Canada professionals Ryan Kingston, Alan Howie and Dallas Desjardins.  These clinic are available to FGC members and will be a little more advanced to provide golfers an extra boost they can bring to the course.

The clinics will begin at 5:00pm on Tuesday evenings starting May 24th for a total of 4 sessions. Each week we will be working on specific areas of the game to help play the best golf of your life.

Week 1 (May 24)– Basic fundamentals of the swing. We want to ensure the season gets off to a good start and spend this week on the driving ranges ensuring all the cob webs from the winter are dusted off. Grip, stance, posture and alignment will all be covered along with ensuring proper swing mechanics.

Week 2 (May 31)– Pitching and Bunker play. We will look at honing some techniques and ensuring proper mechanics for everyone. We will also be looking at some different lies (i.e. sidehill and downhill) as Fredericton Golf Club has plenty of those!

Week 3 (June 7)– Chipping and putting. We will work on ensuring everyone is using proper club selection on chips based off certain situations as awkward lies.

Week 4 (June 14)– Course Management. We will discuss some theory while thinking about certain holes on the golf course. We will also use this time to head back to the range and work out any kinks.

The series will be $60 per person with a maximum group size of 10. This will ensure a good ratio of 1 instructor per 5 players.
