Green Renovation Project – Progress Update May 17th

Week three of our Green Renovation Project has seen incredible progress made to holes #10 & 13. Rod Whitman‘s team of Keith Cutten and Kurtis Lavis have been working very hard this past week in order to complete the de-construction of all four greens.

The leveling and initial re-shaping of holes #4 & #5 were completed last week after Kurtis finished the removal of the greens and turf around them. Preparation work has also been completed with the initial shaping and designing of the right side bunker on hole #4.

Last Wednesday marked the first day of work on the opposite side of Golf Club Road. The de-construction of hole #13 green started with the focus on removing the turf and sod around the green area in order to prepare for the surface leveling for the new green area. As of Thursday, May 16th, the leveling and shaping preparation on hole #13 has been completed.

The work on hole #10 began on Wednesday, May 15th. Since then Kurtis has unearthed the major sections of the approach leading up to the green as well as the apron area surrounding the former green.

Week three has been filled with lots of progress leading up to our course opening on Tuesday, May 21st.
